KTM 390 Adventure X is a adventure bike available in only 1 variant and 2 colours. The KTM 390 Adventure X is powered by 373.27cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 42.9 bhp and a torque of 37 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, KTM 390 Adventure X comes up with anti-locking braking system. This 390 Adventure X bike weighs 177 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 liters.

KTM India has updated its 390 Adventure range with the addition of a new variant. Thus, and the adventure-tourer motorcycle is now available in two versions – Standard and X. The Standard version of the motorcycle retains all the features from the its previous version, while the X model gets fewer electronics for a more competitive price tag.

Notably, the overall design remains similar to the outgoing version and the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure range retains a split-style LED headlight, a windscreen with air deflectors, a muscular fuel tank, split- style seats, a side-slung exhaust, and alloy wheels (19-inch front/17-inch rear). The standard version is available in two paint options – Atlantic Blue and Dark Galvano Black. The 390 Adventure X, too, is listed in two colour themes – Galactic Blue and Dark Galvano Black.

The feature list on the standard 390 Adventure comprises a traction control system, riding modes, cornering ABS, ride-by-wire throttle, and a quickshifter. Meanwhile, the X variant packs fewer electronics and it only gets a dual-channel ABS with off-road mode. Further, the new version uses an LCD screen while the standard model retains the Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display.

The mechanical specifications on both variants include a a 373.27cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine with a dual overhead camshaft. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 42.9bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.

The hardware, too, is identical on both variants and the 2023 390 Adventure continues to use a trellis frame with a bolted sub-frame. The suspension tasks are handled by 43mm upside-down WP Apex front forks and a 10-step adjustable WP rear mono-shock. The Meanwhile, the braking duties are performed by a 320mm single disc at the front and a 230mm single rotor at the back. Both variants boast a 14.5-litre fuel tank and tip the weighing scale at 177kg (kerb).

The 390 Adventure rivals the likes of the GMW G 310 GS in the Indian market.
